Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Delicious chewy oatmeal cookies
Ingredients
Dry ingredients
- •1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- •3 cups sprouted oats
- •5 tbsp brewers yeast
- •1 tsp baking soda
- •1 tsp baking powder
- •1 tsp cinnamon
- •0.5 tsp salt
Wet ingredients
- •6 oz softened unsalted butter
- •0.25 cup coconut oil (or grapeseed oil)
- •0.75 cup white sugar
- •2 eggs
- •1 tsp vanilla extract
- •1 tbsp oat milk
- •1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, sprouted oats, brewer’s yeast, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a mixer, beat softened butter and sugar for 1-2 minutes.
- Add wet ingredients: Add eggs, then vanilla extract.
- Combine: Gradually mix in the flour mixture until combined.
- Shape and bake: Scoop dough into 1 inch rounds and place on a baking sheet ~1 inch apart.
- Bake for 16 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Let cool completely before storing in a sealed container.
